Know your floor before you know your price.

Per-square-foot rates tell you what the market tolerates. They don't tell you whether you'll lose money. The floor is labor, travel, chemicals, fuel and a share of overhead. If the market price is below your floor, it's not a job. It's a donation.

Labor, per person per hour$35
Chemicals + fuel, per wash hour$20
Overhead, per job$25

Quote the range, not the guess.

A 600 sq ft driveway at $0.15 is $90. The same driveway at $0.35 is $210. Both are normal. The range is where negotiation lives and the floor is where it stops. The calculator hands you the midpoint and shows how much room you have underneath it.

2,000 sq ft two-story house wash$375–750
550 sq ft driveway$83–193

Stack the add-ons. Veterans do.

Pre-treat, oil spots, rust, gutters, windows, rush. Newcomers wash all of it for one number. The difference on a typical house package is $150 to $400, and it's the part of the quote nobody argues with because they can see the problem.
